This class will challenge acting students to use their physical and vocal instruments in tandem with their imaginations. Students will explore active listening and response, character, objectives, tactics, and more foundational skill sets. The class culminates with a final showcase performance of the scenes they will be workshopping during the semester.

Intended for intermediate actors who have some foundational skills under their belt (character work, objectives, tactics), this class will focus on two important skill sets: scene/text analysis and partnered scene work. Participants will dive into guided text analysis and rehearsal through coaching. Students will also spend time learning and preparing for how to behave in the audition room for both professional and amateur performing opportunities. The class culminates with a final showcase performance of the scenes they will be workshopping during the semester.
